Today is my birthday, and I am honored to share it with Edgar Allan Poe, born January 19th 1809. Poe was a brilliant writer, and I love his work. I admire the deep sentiment within his work, which draws you in. His style is not for everyone, it’s sometime long and daunting, but there is beauty laced within the lines that you must keep reading to find.

  2. I love Poe’s writings! And his life was mysterious and intriguing just like his writings. He definitely was a dark, little, mysterious man with a beautiful talent in words.

  6. Happy Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂 Poe was a major influence when I first began writing poetry. I love the beautiful melancholy of his work. My birthday is Poe’s death day. I used to joke that I was his reincarnation 😛
