I Love Books alatte!

o-books-facebook29
It’s all about books! and some coffee…
They really just go hand in hand in my book πŸ˜‰

Reading books, discussing them, being creative with them, storing them, stacking them, buying them, reviewing them, sharing them, caring for them, pairing coffee with them, and just plain loving them.

  1. Hey, thanks for following my blog! I’m looking at yours now and it’s beautiful. Right before you followed me, I was reading Wuthering Heights while sipping a coffee…I think that is a sign we were meant to connect πŸ™‚

      • Can’t say of read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Ham on Rye is a good read though, very entertaining, funny.
Bukowski was a pretty hands on writer, very honest – he details his upbringing through the Depression era with the profound snippets he remembers.
I’m only half way through, I won’t spoil it.

      • Haha, I meant to say un-profound snippets. That’s what I think is great about it – Its all just stuff that I can remember doing when I was a kid – like I said I’m only half way through, I think he talks about his adult life as well which should be interesting and equally amusing!

  5. Thanks for the follow. As it happens I was just talking Jane Eyre with a blogging friend who met in the flesh at the national theatre. She’s written two boos following on from the original imagining what happened to Jane and was off to see the play based on the book. So I’m kind of thinking classics and I see your follow and comments re classics. Did I say thanks for the follow? Oh yes! And most splendid Christmas too.

  7. Ah, here a cafΓ© is a petit noir much like and expresso. You can buy ‘coffee’ in other forms but usually cafΓ© is that small dark cup. The first cup is enjoyed with the local newspaper, le journal. The second goes right into whatever I’m reading.
Currently I am well into volume two of Vilhelm Moberg’s four volume series on Swedish emigrants in the 1850’s. After that there is Swedish Women Writing 1850 – 1995. My father’s family were Swedish emigrants and I have some journal pages from one of his ancestors which may turn into a story? I could call it all research but I’m enjoying it tremendously.

Thanks for following one of my blogs, LΓ©a

  10. I, too, bury myself in books! They are everywhere in my house. πŸ™‚ Not so much coffee; I’m more of a tea person. I’m drawn to other’s bookshelves when I go to their house. This is a GREAT virtual bookshelf. πŸ™‚

  11. Hello Abbie Lu. I am a sucker for books too. Since I am from a place with limited access of published treasures, i have discovered Wattpad. Are you familiar? I tried to introduce the site on my blog and one of the green writer I have come to love.
I would really appreciate it if you could have a look at her work and let me know what you think.
