  2. Hello! I’m Carl, avid reader of fiction, history, adventure, and naturalist writings. I enjoy hiking, travel, and photography. I’m a Tennessee resident, but love the PNW–one of my favorite hikes ever was backpacking the Three Sisters Loop in Oregon. I’m a code monkey who writes software for a living. Favorite tea is Huangshan maofeng. Nice to (virtually) meet you!

  3. i can’t say i have a book on coffee/mentions of same said but I like a few movie scenes first is Beethoven’s 2nd – wherein dad overseas a simple scene of kiddo getting a cup of coffee to start the day, an it’s kinda part of the club thing — or a very much older movie “In tThe Heat Of the night – cclark gable showing the PROPER way to dunk a doughnut with that same said coffee. – which is about where the Bugs Bunny comes from a propmo photo of clark eating a carrot with top hanging down comes from available on youtube if you just missed it 😉 – it’s on eighty three years old. — tea however was two books: james l pratt’s “a tea lover’s treasury” and a mention of a specific tea in james fennimore cooper’s leather stocking tales i believe book four don’t hold me to ihat one 😉 of lapseng su chong a specific black tea smoked. i.e. coffee’s fine I have a cup and i also like me some tea 😉

  4. Coffee is life… though I’ve been known to sip the occasional green tea every now and then! Currently reading Dennis Lehane’s “Live by Night”, a Steinbeck collection, and have just begun re-reading Stephen King’s “On Writing”. A writer’s gotta read!

  5. I’m currently reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I love the idea of both coffee and tea, but really don’t like either one. I know I’m weird. I’d like nothing better to come in from the rain to a nice cup of tea, or have a steaming mug of coffee first thing in the morning. But I don’t…

  6. Tea is the only possible answer. Currently rereading the Game of Thrones series – not sure why as the next book is never going to be published so I’ll just be waiting forever​!
