  1. I wasn’t aware of this. I’m not Jewish, but one of my grandfather’s was in Europe during WWII. He took part in the D-Day invasion, the Battle of the Bulge, entered Germany, and saw more than anyone should ever have to. But, he always said the most disturbing and horrific thing he saw throughout the entire war was the first few days after they liberated Dachau. I only hope humanity has learned a lesson born out of terrible suffering.
