My favourite bookstore of all time! Whenever I’m in Paris (not often enough) I drag my husband there. He gets a coffee and wanders up the Seine, returning every once in awhile to see if I am “done” yet…

So true. Ditto libraries. Hard going with other people because they will never stay as long as I want to stay.

Yes always better to go alone or with another book enthusiast. Powell’s has a coffee shop so that is a nice outlet for less enthralled companions. 🙂

I feel like that too! Even when I’m attempting to be on time to a destination when I pass a bookstore or library I want badly to stop and stay a while!

Haha love this, can definitely relate! I love finding little independent bookshops oooh or even better bookshop cafes so cake and a good book can be enjoyed all in one 🙂
