fiction-vs-nonfiction

I’m personally in the 50/50 club. I love learning new things from reading, and exploring history, culture, and human nature etc. I also love the world of imagination; exploring new worlds and ideas. It is sometimes really great when books are a combination; books with fictional characters and stories, but embedded with real culture and history.

  1. I love your site. I decided to quit facebook. Too many strange men hounding me. Plus I barely have enough time to accomplish my goals. I still participate with Google +. Love your site again!!!

  2. Although I tend to read more fiction, I love reading the biographies of people such as Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon and George Whitefield. Each of these men lead very interesting lives. Charles

  4. I enjoy devotionals and since I am a wellness blogtalk radio interviewer, I enjoy books written to encourage and inspire. I completed a book of encouragement, “Skies of My Self, Soul and Spirit: Psalms for Delight and Devotion to use with my workshops on Quality and End of Life Grief and Palliative Care. I enjoy having authors share how they apply their gifts and talents to Wellness. If any author would like to call in and be interviewed, they can contact me at http://www.WysjoyfulComppany.wordpress.com

  5. Although I occasionally read classic novels (including children’s and youth) from our family library and contemporary adult novels from our town library, most of my current reading is in connection with our family and church small group Bible study and my Open Theism blog. My reading is often accompanied by hot chocolate and/or coffee.
