Heaven forbid
you should need

coffee, or
find yourself

However, if you had to drink something else, or if you just like to mix it up, what would you choose?

  1. I don’t drink coffee, it actually makes me feel sleepy… 😀 I do love tea, though, especially green tea; I also have this wonderful tea called Women’s Energy Tea, very revitalizing. Hot chocolate at this time of the year is wonderful as well!

As for books… well, I’m supposedly to study to gather background material for my BA Thesis (yes, we have to write one here in Finland, minimum of 15 pages for a ‘mini-study’), but I keep getting distracted… Internet linguistics is my subject, so I’ll have to check books and articles on that.

For some time now I have tried to go through my own bookshelf, to see if there’s any books I could pass on to someone else. I’ve gotten as far as to the letter D, as I’ve arranged my books in the alphabetical order according to the author’s surname, and if there are series they go from part 1 to part X of course… The next time I have 4 hours to spend, I’ll read Sylvia Day’s “Entwined With You” (I like reading books in one go if I just can…). 😀

I also have a collection of Yeats’ poems from the library. 🙂 I read a poem or two at a time, sometimes more if they are short. I’ve enjoyed his works so far.

  2. Totally a tea person. Can’t do the coffee thing. And it has to be decafe because why would I inflict a caffeinated version of myself on people? That would be scary! I’m currently reading several manga series, but my favourite is “Library Wars – Love and War” which is a must-read for all book lovers 😀

  3. Not to push religion but I am currently reading Glory Days by Max Lucado and I really enjoy it. Next on my list, I’m excited to read another book from him called Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe which involves an old fashioned coffee shop. Nothing like a good cuppa coffee to make reading more enjoyable. My favorite is cappuccino! I like the strong stuff! haha (but it has to have milk)

  4. I drink tea almost as much as coffee, but which type depends on my mood, though I tend to stay away from black tea more than green and herbal. I especially love Constant Comment’s Green blend. It’s awesome! But I’ll dip into Starbucks for a London Fog every now and then, too. ^_^

  6. No coffee? What fresh hell is this?! Only joking. 😉
I used to be terribly addicted to coffee. I suppose I still am, but I just manage it a little better these days. Now after my two coffees of a morning I mainly drink either peppermint or jasmine tea. Peppermint for digestion, jasmine for any tummy cramps. Some people add honey to jasmine, but I prefer it plain.

Red wine is also a huge favourite, but I don’t think it’s probably a good replacement for a morning beverage!

As for my current reading list; I’ve just finished The Bandini Quartet by John Fante!

  7. I don’t really like coffee, but if I had it, I would drink it black. I’m all-in for tea. If I had to do without either…that would be a problem because I need the caffeine! Years ago, as a twenty- and thirty- something, I drank no caffeine, so I guess I could survive.

  8. I love coffee, but I have to say, that lady on SharkTank advertising her fancypants tea made me want to try it. Every season, I am hooked on Starbucks’ iced gingerbread latte.

  9. Coffee, cappuccino, chai tea latte, chai tea, if we are out of those, someone had better be making a run to the store or Starbucks. I am just getting ready to start reading Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic, Creative Living Beyond Fear.
