I have been drinking both over the past two weeks as I completed 10 and 16 page analysis reports and studied for and competed two final exams. As I have run out of sugar, now I am drinking hot cocoa. My preference has to be tea with a pinch of lemon; however, I have found that statistically, I drink coffee more often. This is due to coffee being offered for free at any given place of employment and the lack of a Lipton tea option.
Recently stopped putting sugar in my coffee, but can’t let go of the cream/milk. As for tea, must be P G tips with milk – or Earl Grey with cream! Currently reading Eat My Globe by Simon Majumdar – hilarious!
The best coffee is the one that someone brings you! Hopefully with a tiny little espresso bean on top like they do at my favorite spot Cowgirl’s Coffee. I am liking the flat white!
It’s pretty fascinating so far. Her husband dropped dead in front of her from an aneurysm and from what I’ve gathered so far “the year of magical thinking” is the year after he passed where she kept living like he was going to come back one day.
Not at all, I struggle with black coffee as well. I used to not like it at all, but now it’s the only way I like to eat dessert. For some reason drinking the black coffee with the sweet treat, completely changes the flavor and takes away the bitterness and mutes the acidity (the things that are too potent for me in straight black.) I love the combo, but still can’t drink it stand alone
I have to be honest, and please don’t hate me, but I don’t actually like coffee. Sure I drink it, but I can just one day decide I don’t want to drink a cup and go on…forever, without drinking coffee and I’ll be just fine. I hate coffee from coffee shops, it’s too strong for me and it just doesn’t taste good. When I do drink coffee, it’s the insta kinda that already comes with sweetener. When I meet people they always want to meet at coffee shops and it really just sucks for me. However, I drink coffee everyday during winter because I want a warm drink and I like hot chocolate and tea even less. I’m about to go make a cup right now!
Cider might be worth a shot, just don’t do mulled cider if you don’t like chai (it uses similar spices. Steamers are great too. Steamed milk (any kind) with added flavor syrup, or just honey.
Yay!
At the moment my latest coffee discovery is that I love soya milk in my lattes. I’m not lactose intolerant or anything, I just discovered that it tastes really good.
Right now I’m reading We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves and I’m loving it, and so far this year I’ve managed to read a book every week. Not sure how long I’ll be able to keep that up but so far so good.
I used to love soy milk, but I developed an intolerance to it, and now I can’t drink it. 😦 luckily almond milk is readily available, because I love that as well.
Decaf latte with sugar-free caramel syrup and frothed almond milk. Hot or iced. 😀 And I’m currently serving as a judge for a book contest! Hard, but fun.
Exactly. I buy books online when I know what I want specifically and need or want it right away. However, I love bookshops, and cannot leave one empty handed.
Probably my biggest favorite is pumpkin spice latte…. no hazelnut…wait, Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce coffee with cream…or Caribou blend? I know, it’s afternoon, perhaps some Constant Comment tea…or Earl Grey….while I think about it. Hmmm…what will go best with “Wise Man’s Fear” by Rothfuss? Ok, magic, alchemy, the power in naming, Dread Chandrian evildoers, perhaps some restorative Cranberry Hibiscus?
Capuccino for life : )

I love coffee pretty much any way. I drink only one cup a day so I usually save it for the afternoon and look forward to what I might create 🙂

Coffee, espresso, and energy drinks are my life juice lol. I’m currently reading “The Year of Magical Thinking” by Joan Didion.
If I drink tea it’s either sweet black tea or sleepy time extra 🙂 cause I’m just like that.

That’s such a shame! I didn’t realise people could develop soy milk intolerances, it doesn’t really seem fair
