This is a great book if you want a deeper level of understanding of Dr. King’s spirit, and his intentions in the Civil Rights Movement.

  10. Thank you for this post. I have not read the autobiography, but it is on my list now for 2016. Have you looked at his coffee table book? It is titled King by Charles Johnson and Bob Adelman. The photography is all black and white, and it is one of my favorite treasures. I also love the book Children of the Dream by Laurel Holliday. It is a must read and truly does define growing up black in America.
